anti-environmental excellence, the Golden Stump Award.

You are invited to attend the Forest Action Network (FAN) Vancouver's
award ceremony at Home Depot on May 26. The endangered Stoltmann Wilderness Ewok
will be presenting the Home Depot Darth Vader with an award of
anti-environmental excellence, the Golden Stump Award. Home Depot's forces
of darkness will graciously accept the award, while expressing contempt
for the environmental protesters. "I find your lack of faith in clearcutting
disturbing," Depot Vader has ominously stated to environmentalists. "Come,
join us now, and together we shall destroy ancient forests forever."

Home Depot is the world's largest home improvement retailer of anciet
forest products, including International Forest Products' wood clearcut
from Clayoquot Sound, the Stoltmann Wilderness, and the Great Bear
Rainforest. We are calling on Home Depot to go ancient forest free and to
sell only FSC eco-certified wood products. May 26 is an international Day
of Action where demonstrations will occur throughout North America at Home
Depot locations.
